The Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), established in 2003, honors individuals, families, and groups for their dedication to volunteerism and civic engagement. U.S. citizens or permanent residents can earn bronze, silver, or gold awards based on the hours of service completed in a year. Recipients receive a medal, certificate, and a letter from the President in recognition of their contributions.
Engaging youth in local projects promotes responsibility and compassion, helping to develop future leaders. Involving young people in volunteer activities fosters accountability and empathy, benefiting both the community and shaping them into active citizens committed to service.
REF is able to verify and provide volunteer hours eligible for the President's Volunteer Service Award. We are also committed to supporting additional community service initiatives. Individuals interested in collaborating on projects or volunteering with REF are encouraged to reach out to us for more information.
